We all need proper education and therefore no matter what family background we come from we need to provide the same quality education to all. Education is really important to survive in today’s competitive market because there are several people waiting for one single job and the competition is cut throat. These agencies are affiliated with the government in the country and therefore they provide facilities and certain options to minority class people at a lower price or sometimes even without any cost. Similarly, there are college scholarships that are designed to provide help to students from lower strata of the society. These scholarships are kept reserved for those students who are good at studies and they have a dream of achieving something big in their life but they are unable to do that without any financial support.
Scholarships for minorities are provided in almost every other college in the United States giving every student a fair chance to try their intelligence and to compete on a global level. However, not every student that have family income problems can go for these scholarships. These scholarships are only for certain group of people who never really get the status they deserve. Apart from these there are general scholarships provided to students who want some minor help to fund their college expenses like hostel room charges and laboratory usage charges.
Merit Scholarships are usually reserved for students who are brilliant and who can be one of the toppers in the college or in the university. Hence, merit scholarships can only be applied if you have some exceptional marks in your mark sheet. Need-based scholarships can be applied because it is given to people who have some family problems because of which they are unable to pay college fees. Financial Aid scholarships are usually provided by people who want to support the people from their own caste and religion and therefore it is a very selective scholarship given only to selected students. There are certain scholarships where students also need to sign a bond and work with college administration as a repayment for the scholarships received.
